Basically, if you show steady sales over a month, your sales rank will be higher than if you got all those sales at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How can I improve my Amazon BSR?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The best way to improve your Amazon BSR is to develop steady sales of your book over time. This will lead to the <a href=\"https:\/\/kindlepreneur.com\/amazon-popularity-effect-how-amazon-treats-book-discoverability\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Amazon Popularity Effect<\/a>, which will increase the amount of promotion that Amazon is willing to give you. If, instead, you see &#8220;Kindle Store&#8221; that means you're only looking at Kindle sales which can be very different from audiobooks. Understand that the data on each sale type is different, and you nee to use the correct Amazon Best Seller calculator for its type.  For example, a book could be ranked at #100 in the Audible store, but #10,000 in the Kindle store, and these rankings are independent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, if you are looking at the Paperback or Hardcover print book version, it will say &#8220;in Books&#8221; instead of &#8220;in Kindle&#8221; or &#8220;in Audible&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">But What About Kindle Unlimited?
