There\u2019s a big difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) is Amazon's self-publishing platform for ebooks and paperbacks. KDP differs from Amazon Advantage and Seller Central in a few key ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Print vs. digital:<\/strong> KDP is focused on publish <a href=\"https:\/\/kindlepreneur.com\/book-formatting-file-types-explained\/\">ebooks<\/a> and print-on-demand print books, while Advantage and Seller Central enable publishers to sell <strong>pre-printed<\/strong> physical books.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fees and payment: <\/strong>There are no subscription fees for KDP &#8211; it takes a percentage of sales revenue.
